Last Fall, The Mountain Home Parks and Recreation Department and the Mountain Home Public Library began the Wii Bit of Fun program for senior citizens. This was started so that the senior members could socialize while playing the Nintendo Wii game at the Mountain Home Senior Center. The program was created to engage the senior citizens in a low-impact exercise activity.

During the Wii Bit of Fun, the players could play Wii Sports which is a collection of games such as baseball, boxing, tennis, golf and bowling. There would also be interactive exercise games like the Wii Fit where the seniors could participate in various exercises like yoga and several drills. With these exercises they could test their strength and balance endurance.
