Nintendo is recession proof. In the hardware department, the news is still boring. The Nintendo Wii was selling 679,000 consoles in one month which was top in hardware chart. The recession is awaiting, Nintendo is trying to take a chance. In January 2009, sales of video games hardware and software are reaching the figure of 1.33 billion dollars in the United States.

Nintendo must be surely the recession proof and video games like Sony and Microsoft is also planning to take new figures. They are fighting for the home consoles spots which are very much open. The Play Station 2 and the PlayStation 3 is filing the two spots in the chart after selling 172,300 and 101,200 units respectively.
